UPDATE!
Thanks again guys!
See Notes below!
Note: I know it's not much but hopefully it somehow helps Chris get his motor up and going again. Since I am banned on F150online will you post that I am contributing to the fund. Good luck.
Sincerely,
Jimmy a.k.a. dealerjim
Note: Hope this helps!
Chris Rucker
Note: I don't know Chris on a personal level, but his informative posts have helped me many times.
I don't see this as charity in any way. I see it as more of a pay back.
Great idea...keep it going.
03LightninRocks.....Ron Durham
Note: Get that motor runnin! I know its only 5 bucks but hopefully itll help. ive ran into a few snags too.

Hello everyone.
I've been trying to contact everyone on the contribution list on an individual basis.
I think i've succeeded for the most part.
I wanted to thank each of you one on one for the contribution or donation.
just adding up the listed contributions to date:
and including Tim's pledge of $100 bucks pending I promise not to spend it on prostitutes...
you guys have managed to chip in roughly $1000 in only about 36 hours!!!!!!!!
I still can't believe this, you guys are amazing.
my reason for posting was that I can't find e-mail address for a few of you namely 03LightningRocks for his UNBELIEVABLY GENEROUS $200 donation... THANK YOU VERY MUCH. also cerucker $100!!! Tim Skelton $100!!! and dealerjim $25!!! I think I was able to contact everyone else on the list thus far. or at least I tried to contact you through this site, so I hope everybody's e-mail in their profiles are up to date.
I'm the worst with names, especially in many cases of people that I've never had the opportunity to meet face to face, then add to the confusion different screen names, and different e-mail addresses, it can get difficult trying to reach people.
if anybody doesn't feel comfortable having their name posted, please let Rich or I know so that we can remove them immediately. I don't want to invade anybody's privacy in any way.
if you didn't recieve an e-mail, please don't think I'm ungrateful. I was just unable to contact you. I wrote over 20 emails this morning so some of you may have gotten one twice!
I truely appreciate the help from each of you.
also, to those of you who are willing to donate engine parts to help with the project. in many cases those parts have values that equal hundreds and hundreds of dollars. thank you guys as well I don't want to leave you out.
I think I included my phone number in the e-mails that I sent out. if there is anything that I can do to repay the favor to any of you in the future, please don't hesitate to contact me by phone or email.
I'm going to have to figure out a colorful way to publicly recognize everyone who has offered their help in this situation.
as Shane (2bscrewed) wrote me, the truck is now a "community" purchase. I'll have to tour the country letting people borrow it to race on the weekends! or something...
maybe I should have everybody who contributes screen name painted onto the valve covers or something along those lines...
any suggestions are welcome.
thanks again.
sincerely,
chris haynie

Years ago, if somebody needed a barn, the whole community pitched in for a "barn raising".
I'm very proud to see that the same spirit prevails in this group. I may be the least likely to ever meet most of you, since I live in Hawaii. But this whole thing makes it feel like family. Heck, it makes me feel good enough to kick in another $ 50.00!

More notes below!
Note: I will also give Chris any engine parts he needs for the new motor for my cost on them. Pretty sure I told him that right after it happened, but remind him.
Powersurge Performance a.k.a Lightningtuner
Note: We only met once at Cecil, but I loved reading your build-up posts, may it rise from the ashes.

I figured if JR's burgers and dawgs are worth 40 bucks......although he did cook a mean burger......The help I have gotten from Chris's many step by step posts had to be worth a couple hundred bucks.
If your reading this JR....you know I'm just busting your chops...I owed you that for helping Bob instead of me in Ohio.
Thanks goes to You Chris...what I did was easy, now get your(our) truck running again
Rocks
