Lightning Guy, My name is Jeronimo I go by Suavy on these boards. We all try to help everyone who logs in here and asks. I am surprised at your stance that you have taken. All though you are entitled to your opinion this was not one of those what muffler should I use or what rims looks better. This was one lightning brother helping another.

Chris has helped us all from time to time. I personally have helped many people with technical advice for I manage the 4.6 L cast iron block department for Ford Motor Co. I have also supplied this board and others boards with X-plans for new Ford vehicles.

I keep a note pad by my terminal with handles from people who are less then desirable. When they post and ask for help I never respond! Look at the number of posts that people have made by their handle. If you see a person who has posted a lot but has zero response this is probably why.

Just wanted you to know yours just made my list good luck in your endeavors.

litnfast,
Thanks for the kind words!
I have often tried to help whom ever has asked for it. I personally have provided about 18 or 19 X-plans last year and about 10 or 11 this year.
I have been blessed to have a great job with Ford and will continue to help my L-brothers & sister as much as I can. I have been on this board for about 2 years now and have gained a lot of help and info from it. The negativity often comes from those who don't put any info in to there profile so no one can track them. Or they have 10 - 100 post. Do a search and look at their input! You will see that a lot of them are posers who just come here to spy or give us a hard time!
Let's look at it like this; they're probably the kid that everyone picked on! Or have deeper issue?
I don't agree with everyone and have been slammed my self! The good lord said to forgive not forget. I have even been called out from a person or two on these boards. I'm 5' 10" 275 lb so I'm competitive to say the least!

Chris, you have my support let me know how I can help.

Rather than take a shot at me online - Why dont you show up to a TALON meeting since you live in the area, and introduce yourself ?

Doug
Ok I'll admit it was a cheap shot since you guys closed the other "fund" thread down, but regardless, it made me see you in a different light is what I was saying. Also will I not only introduce myself to you when I hopefully come up there for the caravan to LightningFest, but we can drive for 8 hours together as well

Back on topic though...Glad to see your "pot" is getting bigger Chris...how much longer till things start to come back together?

thanks for asking Don.

for anybody who cares to contribute, my paypal account is the same as my e-mail address:

chaynie@comcast.net

for those who don't feel it's appropriate to contribute, I understand, for those who would like to contribute but simply can't fit it into the budget, BELIEVE ME, I understand.

regardless, thanks to everybody for the support, be it moral support, or monetary support.

it is greatly appreciated.

thank you,
chris

UPDATE!

Guys, I am going to let this run through the paypal account I setup for Chris a few more days and then I will give the total that I collected through paypal for him.

Im not sure what Chris is going to do, but im sure it will be in his best interest what ever it is.

To the guys that have said they are sending Chris checks, please follow up with him if you need to. You have his direct address.

To the people that contacted me directly, I thank you again. Not just money donations meant alot. The kind words, thoughts, and brothership alone meant alot to get Chris thinking about fixing the truck.

Remember, what goes around comes around. And to the sour apples that like to spoil good things, Your time will come so dont worry. Take that however you want.....
