the new dyno numbers are in.

508hp 463tq shifting at 6 grand.

turned it up alittle should be a good weekend.
this is with the paxton novi blower. we had some issues with the previous tuning software so now i'm sporting a chipmaster revolution chip. so not only did we get more peak power but all the underlying power is really up.

i'll try to get a dyno graph up in the next few days.

Nice numbers. It's amazing the difference in tq # on a centifugal s/c & roots/twin screw.

Is that available as a mass produced kit, or a custom one-off project?

i believe he said it was seeing 18 psi and did see it go almost to 20 psi on the last pull around 6100 rpm's. the boost is totally dependent on rpm unlike the roots or screw blowers. i'm now at the same tq level as i was with the eaton last year and over 80hp more. with the autologic chip i was using there was a parameter that was not in the programming software so somewhere in the midrange it was dumping fuel bigtime since i dont have the rear 2's hooked up. we looked through the programming software of both the sct and chipmaster and both had this provision so we chose to go with the revolution since i got the chip at cost where i would have had to pay more for the sct chip.

Rob, do you know what the diameter is on your upper and lower pulleys? I am just trying to gauge what I may see with my setup. ATI is telling me I should see about 20 psi with my pulley combo, I think they are smoking some good stuff.

3.5 inch upper and 9 inch lower(6lb pulley). 4 inch upper, and 9 inch gave me 14 psi at 5500rpms

the paxton novi has a 3.50 to 1 step up ratio

and the f1r has a 5.0 to 1 step up ratio.

Sounds like at this stage it would be a high dollar venture. If/when Vortech/Paxton mass produces this, it may be a viable alternative to the Kenne Belle.

In another post, you mention this was a stock short block. Everything on top of the cylinder heads is custom done?

yes pretty much. i got foxlake stage 2 ported heads with oversize valves and cnc port matched lower intake. then everything from the intercooler up is custom made. and yes it was a pricey venture. i dont know what the discharge temps were since i wasn't there for the tuning. but he did do a pull from a dead stop to test the 6000 rpm shifts and i kid you not it looked llike it would have lifted the front tires off the ground. wish i would have had my video camera.

I'll wait until Paxton/Vortech do the R&D and mass produce something. You seem onto something by the power you're getting out of that centrifugal.
