towing...

Hey all i just got a lightning and have a ATV and want to tow a trailer..I want to lower the rear a little bit to make it easyer to load my quad into the truck.

But lowering the rear..would this make it not capible or ruin the suspension in any way?

Well first, what year L ? and what type/size trailer are you wanting to pull?
I have the 2" drop shackles on my 02, and have towed open car trailers w/3800 lb. vehicles w/no problems, smooth ride and cruise at 65. you need to watch your tounge weight though & balance the load, till it looks like it's almost touching the susp stubbers, mine still rides smooth loaded to that point.

I have an 03, and a 2" drop in the rear. I tow my 18 foot pontoon, and have no problems.
