Need HELP wiring electric water pump

just take the signal wire (the one that goes from your switch to your relay) off of your switch and wire it into a wire that has power with the ignition key is in the run position.
the water pump should then cut on whenever the engine is running.
or if you want to keep the switch, you could leave your existing wire to your switch so that the pump will still work with that way, and just run an additional wire from a 12V source (again, something that is 12v) with the key in the run position, and no voltage with the key turned off) to the same terminal on the relay, so the that the pump will work either way. this way, the pump runs when the engine is on, or in the pits for example, with the engine off you could run the pump using the switch for a few minutes to cool your motor.
I hope this helps.
good luck.
