Loose Fuel Line & Thanks Cliff! (long post)
I had a great time at Gingerman last weekend until...
I was coming out of turn 10 and got back on the throttle and the truck just went blah. I limped back to the pits, popped the hood, and checked for the obvious, but everything looked okay. The truck would idle okay but would fall on its face when loaded. I disconnected the neg. battery cable to reset the computer and still blah. Replaced the fuel filter and still blah. Swapped my MAF will Cliff's (thanks a bunch) and still blah. Even the Ford Engineers that brought the '05 Mustang and GT were puzzled. Ended up towing it to the nearest SVT dealer. They found that the high pressure fuel line, in the fuel tank, connecting the outlet of the fuel pump to the tank came loose. WTF, have you guys heard of this before?
Also, I want to thank Cliff for helping another L owner out, I really appreciate it.
Sorry for the long post.

I see you own a 01. I didn't think it happened very often on those.
You must be special
It happened on my 99 right in front of the house. Was running good when I went to breakfast and then later it just would barely run.
They use those stainless steel crimp clamps and there is no flare on the fitting that the hose slides over.
All total there were 6 clamps that I replaced. I hope they did the same for you.
There are two pumps and a "Y" connection all together in a wadd.
At least you found it and it wasn't expensive to fix.
