Question The DRL mod?

Has anyone done or seen the DRL (Daytime Running Light) mod?

http://www.fordf150.net/howto/drl.php

I checked Ford Parts. com and the prices quoted were
26.82
39.62

I was thinking that with the newer style clear lenses and only 80% power going to the low beams it would look erie.

Especialy since we are pre wired for it and it isn't normally done to the US trucks.

Anyone actually done it or seen what it looks like?

same idea as 3rd brake lights.

it reduces the chance of collision.

you may know how to drive, but the bonehead on the cellphone coming the other way isn't paying attention.

I'm not saying I'd do this to a lightning.... however I was very supprised at how many people would do a double take and stop when pulling out in front of me (a little saturn I had)

It does make a difference.

From: Colorado,
I just figured since guys mess with there switch to get the fog lights to work when they want that this would be different also.

Whatever, I saw it at another site and figured I would bring it to our table. http://www.fordf150.net/howto/index.php
