Yesterday I raced a 350z on the Turnpike cruising at 60-65mph he was behind me and closing fast to catch me up, he came up real close behind me as if daring me to pull away from him so I obliged slamming on the gas pedal, the L pulled and pulled all the way up to 120mph. When I glanced in the rearview mirror he was about 7 car lenghts behind and that's when I shut it down, I guessed he didn't think an L could pull on top end like that, I myself was surprised that I pulled on him like that so easily. He finally caught up back with me, came beside me and gave me a dirty look and then raced away as if mad, I guess he was, seeing a 5000lb truck just handed him a huge loss.

I ran into a 350z on the 5 over here late one night so we had a go. I was pretty impressed as he hung with me. It wasnt very fair though because we were going through some pretty windy part and I couldnt give it everything. But watch out for those because they can go fast when modded up.

I just moved here and it turns out the retired gentleman next door is a motorhead with a 350Z

He gave me a ride and it was very nice. Quick and smooth.

I returned the favor when I got the bassani exhaust on my 99 and he liked it. We talked about going heads up.

Then I came home with the 04 and transferred the Bassani and installed the JLP cold air intake screamer.

We went on the maiden voyage together and I think he was more giddy than a school girl. ( He hasn't mentioned racing me since then, but he is asking a lot of questions about NOS)
