JDM Hi-Flow Cats

I was wondering if the Dynatech cats would be a better buy then the Magnaflow/JDM cats. I have heard of the JDM cats failing, but have not heard anything negative about the Dynatechs. I am planning on finishing my full exhaust and want to know which brand would be better in the long haul

hmm

I think JDM is using a new style cat from magnaflow than previously used. I have heard a couple of incedents with the highflows failing prematurely, but there's so many of them out there, not just through JDM, i would say the percentage is very low. Dynatech seems to be a good product but not too much info out there on them yet.

I've had the JDM high flows on since AUG 02 and no prob's. Mileage around 25,000 onem i'd guess.

I have JDM headers, JDM cats and a bassani. All on for approx 20k-25k miles. Last winter the cats began to rattle then stopped after about a week of rattling while at a stop sign or stop light. They were fine til about 2-3 weeks ago when they started to rattle again. I gutted them so i don't have to worry about them ratteling again. If they switched manufactures i hope it was for the better/no rattle.

Will
