stock belt size what is it

stock belt size what is it

Like it says what is the stock belt size. Do you have to change the belt when you change to any# pulley also. The number that was on my truck was xl3v-8620 ba is that the stock belt.

No one can tell me what the stock size belt is. Is it what I posted.

I'll have to look at my old belt to give you that size and its at work. I am running a 4lb lower pulley(8.47" diameter) now and use a GDY-4080685 goodyear belt. Hope that helps if not I will try and remember to get the number off the stock belt or measure it.

Depending upon which pulley you use, you may or may not have to change it.

I believe the stock belt is 66" from what I've gathered through searching.

Search around a bit more and you may have some luck finding some better info.

stock = 66"

most people then go:
4lb pulley, use Gatroback 67.5
6lb pulley, use Gatorback 68.5
8lb pulley, use Gatorback 69.0

I always went 1\2" shorter w\pully swaps.
