Wink New Lightning owner from Hawaii

Whats up everybody? Ive been reading posts for the last month and just waiting for the day i to would be a proud lightning owner. That day Is near my friends. Tommorow i pick up a 2003 sonic blue lightning. I was hopping that you guys could give the exact formula for high 12s. Is there any one out there from Hawaii?

Welcome, I think there is a couple of guys from HI posting around here. Congrats on the new ride!

High twelves should be do-able with the venerable chip-filter-pulley combo, depending on the track and air conditions. Add some slicks and twelves should be no problem.

Welcome aboard bradda. Used to live in Ewa Beach. Sure do miss it. There's a couple of guys that live in HI. I know dirtchicken is in the Oahu area. Good luck with the L. You may have to do a little more to your L to make it into the 12's because like CA, you can only get 91 octane gas, and the humidity is high there. High temps and high humidity really suck the power out of our L's.
