I love that HEAT ANODIZED look there ... Mine look grey
after many heat cycles ... They max out at about 680 degrees

Got a reply, $280 shipped for the front and rear. Need to find pads so I'll probably use Summit they got free shipping and no core. I'll order tommorow and revive this post after they are in.

Cliff -- that's zinc coating, usually...helps prevent rusting. (you wear it off quick on the main surface, but the rest tends to maintain it).

He is refering to the factory rotors the thread starting is looking at. After a factory rotor has been drilled, slotted, or dimpled some companies with zinc plate them with a yellow chromate finish. Looks good but is not good. Zinc can act as a lubricant (bad idea on brakes). Zinc plating hardened or heat treat steel can introduce hydrogen embrittlement. If hydrogen embrittlement is present the rotors can litterly shatter into little bity pieces.

you tell them!! If I say anything it is implied that I am trying to steer them away from my stuff.Kinda like chrome plating looks good for the bling but not for the strength.but I use my brakes[ever try to stop truck running 150 plus in less than 1/2 mile?]Stan

If anyone is interested in Brembo calipers there are some great buys on the Subaru forums. Typically the fronts are 4-piston F40/F50 calipers and the rears are a real two piston. All 4 calipers usually go for about $1000. Obviously you will need rotors and mounting brackets. They are Gold in color (see photo). I do not have these for sale but will point you in the direction for anyone interested.
