Put your stock pump back on, your truck will run hotter with the cobra pump and you will loose a little horse power with it. if your truck is an 03 or newer it has a high flow pump on it already. if its not then you should use a pump from an 03 or newer Lightning, DON`T USE THE COBRA PUMP.

From what you have on the beast now, I assume you've had it on the dyno. If so, what kind of numbers were you making? And, just as importantly, what kind of numbers do you want to make?
My vote is for the Apten and the Accufab single blade. I watched a very interesting dyno run a week ago at Swanson's in Torrance, CA. They ran a baseline and then quickly installed the Accufab with no other changes. The Accufab was worth 13 hp. What was really suprising is how it just seemed to move the entire horsepowr curve upward. Yeah, it made 13 up high, but it added 11 at 3500. I was impressed with the change.
They are not inexpensive at about $425.00, so you're looking at about about $30 per hp. The Apten is about $600 or so and if I recall correctly from various posts, seems to be worth about 30 hp. If so, that's about $ 20.00 per hp. So, for about a grand, you should get about 40 hp.
If you can run the 6# pulley, which I can't because Hawaii gets California gasoline (which is posted as 91 octane and is probably closer to 90), that should be worth 10 -15 hp and is probably the cheapest horsepower you can get.
Once you build a trick shortblock, you still have to do things like cams and porting to make it put out more power. You can very easily start spending $ 75 to $ 250 per hp. The more you have, the more it costs to buy more........
