***** *&^% stole my antenna, so show off yours

Came out to the truck this morning and my antenna was missing. Honestly not sure if it happened over night or at PC richards last night because I mostly listen to satelite radio. My neighbors truck in front of mine was missing its antenna also (although it is a hooptie so I am not sure if it had one in the first place.) I am guessing it was just some kids on the block causing some trouble.

Show off some aftermarket antenna before I go buy another stock one.
Thanks

From: Colorado,
Wouldn't it be nice to catch the SOB in the act!!!!

I would gag the motherfuther and use the antenna to give him the wipping he would never forget before I wiped the blood off of it and reinstalled it.

Then I would drive him out in the middle of nowhere and leave him.

Or worse yet, I would turn him over to the master of Pain.

Just cut the hell out of your fender support and take a good life policy out on the wife.

Look for a "hidden" antenna.

They run along the top of your windshield...

Or just get a billet one for like $25.

Now the question is how do I prevent them from stealing it again??

I park on the street so that sucks.

I am thinking if it was kids a little loc tite may do the job since they probably will not have a wrench to take it off, but if it is a band of high tec antenna theives I am not sure how to prevent it, any ideas:santa:

Wire a hot lead to 110v and attach it to the antennae. They will only try again once.

The red loctight is good but could cause it to be a bigger problem. If it does not unscrew they just might snap it. That could also cause, some paint damage. I use a carcover and have to unscrew it takes couple of seconds! Might just be easier in the long run! Just a thought. Artie

Good point, I think I just might buy a 10 buck replacement and see if it happens again.

I had an arguement about a parking spot with a neighbor 2 days ago so it might have been that fat beotch too????

There are shorty units on e-bay (Currently item #7917781299), that are 14 inches long, don't wave around in the breeze and look good. At $14.00 with very fast shipping, you might wonder why you did not get one sooner.

I installed a 14" billet antenna and honestly the reception is terrible (but it does look good). I switch back to the factory for the winter and the reception is back to acceptable.
