HEY FAST GATOR...........I was simply giving him my OPINION. You say to everyone here, "Let him believe whatever he wants". I don't talk trash and lie to people here. My brother has definately beaten L's with 6lb pulleys. Not once, but twice. And each of those times their owners were surprised to learn that our truck had the 4lb pulley. I wasn't saying that this would be the same for him. I was just telling him of my personal experiences. The truck runs 12.80 @106 on F1's in the hot south Florida heat every time. Just because you like the 6lb better dosen't make me a liar.
The last time i was at moroso, there was a red and also black truck that had 12.8 dial-ins.. is that you guys?

btw, dont worry about gator.. hes getting all hostile because he knows the only thing he will see at the drag strip next time is the wizard of nos's tail lights now only if rob would lay off of the , he would get a hole shot victory

Fast Gator: But since you say it, I guess I'll go outside and remove the 6lb off my truck and put a 4lb on, because you say it will be faster

I knew you would see it my way

Going by what your saying, I wonder if a 2lb pulley will be even faster

I'm running a 6" lower and a 4" upper on mine and this thing is scary fast. The most amazing part is that the boost needle barely makes it out of the vacuum range. Gas mileage is significantly improved too. My next attempt will be to interchange the stock blower and crank pulley.

I'll keep you guys posted.

Well gator you could just remove the supercharger completly and have even less heat, then i know you will gain some serious HP.

Slow Gator <----yea i came up with that all by myself

I never said that switching to a 4lb would make it faster. I gave my opinion that my truck runs awsome with it, and the 4lb is what i would recommend for daily street driving.

This will be my last post to this thread....

(in reply to this threas original question)

I have had a 6# lower on my truck for a few weeks, had a mailorder tune. Drove 15 hours to New york and had SAL and PSP tune it.
Drove home 13.5 hours on the expressway and I have not had one single problem at all. NO hickups, nthing.

Now, is a 6# lower safe?
Yes, ONLY if you ahve a Good Tuner.
The only chip I'll use is an SCT chip, and the only tuner I'll ever use for now on is Sal at PSP.

(Due to weather from these damn hurricanes, my drive time was substantially longer)

I got back today from New york

Kinda of funny that someone here wants to state his opinion....but when I state mine, his only recourse is to attack me and another poster.

The maturity level around here just keeps on dropping

Oh yeah....I might be slow BUT Iam faster than you
