NX install questions

Hey guys, couple questions. I'm getting a great deal on a used NX nitrous kit, and I have some questions. Can any of you post pics of the brackets and such you had to fab to install your kits ? Also where did you mount your Solenoids and where did you mount the micro switch ?? Where did you find was the best point to tap into the fuel line ? If your not using the micro switch that came with the kit, what are you using and how much was it ?? Any help at all is appreciated. Thanks

Josh

i mounted my micro switch on the bracket by the gas pedal. Fuel solenoid behind the s/c. Nitrous solenoid under air box. Tapped into the TB for the nozzle. The fuel should tap into the schrade valve on the pass side of the fuel rail. Bottle mounted using cd exchanger bolts.. if u Need pics ill get you some

Josh, This seems to be the Fuel Rail Fitting Here
AN4 x 1/16 Male

Just found it on http://store.summitracing.com/
Summit Part # NOS-17945NOS

Fitting, -4 AN Male to 1/16 in. NPT Male, Straight, Brass, Each
$6.99

You know my take on Micro Switches, I find them hard to secure
and mount for trouble free operation. They are small and the throw on the arm is extremly minimum, you got to really secure them, and placement is critical

You may want to consider a button instead

What I really like about a manual button is you can launch and hook, spray when you want, and get off the spray while still remaining at WOT.

Or you can just buy a TPS Switch, I think Sal has them,
if not Denny does, (I use one)

You should consider spending the money on the TPS & sals throttle body plate. The microswtch that comes with the NX kit doesnt look like a quality piece. Sales bottle mount bracket is cool too, no drilling required

the kit I'm getting actually does come with Sals Nitrous plate. So dont worry Tom My biggest concern is the micro switch....I'm debating on if I should drop the extra $$$ to get the TPS switch. I more than likely will, but I still gotta decide a lil. I'd also like to see where everyone mounted their solenoids and stuff. I'm consitering mounting mine on the outside of my JLP airbox.

Josh,
I have your intake off now if you want to swap back? Call me.

Are you installing yourself? If so let me know when and I can help out. I just rewired my whole kit on my civic so I have that stuff down.

I saw some chrome bracket in the rice section at autozone that look like they maybe able to use to mount everything to if you want some bling bling

Josh, I'm giving you the microswitch setup off my truck with it. It's a bolt on deal, nothing to rig up.
