I have did a search but the info is somewhat confusing. I have an '01 with the normal 4lb pulley, predator, ftvb, exhaust, and airbox mod. The truck has went a best 12.8 before the predator and now I can not get good 60ft times. They are usually in the high 1.9's and even 2.0's. I have tried every tire pressure known on the goodyears and am ready to step up to some slicks or drag radials or whatever can start getting me better 60ft times. I would like to know your opinions on which tires(Hoosier..etc..) and rim size. Also what back space would I need and if I go with a slick will I be able to launch from a higher RPM? This is just an opinion question so no flmaing please. And thanks for any help I might be able to get. It would be greatly appreciated.
