I have this hood, just ain't seen it yet I had it put on before my truck was shipped to me. By enclosed, I assume you want to know if it's true ram air...it is not. Be careful also with the hood struts. The original ones sent with the hood (big heavy bastard) gave out at the body shop. Sport truck direct sent new ones out that apparantly work fine. They would have sent them free, but I had to pay to have them overnighted because the truck was due on the ship 2 days from then. I'll post pics as soon as I get her.

Jerry,

Any problems with your struts? Also, do you have more pics at different angles? It looks great in that color, also with your stance and rims

I have it on my truck and the stock struts won't hold it up for *****. I bought regular f150 struts, and they did ok for a couple of weeks, and now the slightest nudge while the hood is up will make it crash down. I also need to know who makes shocks to hold up this heavy a$$ed hood.

I have this hood since 6/00

Mine came with heavier duty struts. Hood stays up nicely with no sag. If you have proof of purchase or pic, I'd contact manufacturer and see if they won't provide struts at no charge?

There are holes in the back.

The hood is heavy and comes with new lift rods. Mine work perfect.

I had no alignment problems at all. My painter said the hood was higer quality than he normally see in aftermarket hoods.
