You've got 3.55 gears on those years. And I believe you'll be wanting 26" x 11.5" - 16" ET streets.

That's what I have even though I run 3.73s.

same rims will fit either rear end, the only difference is the gearing.

Depending on how much power you have will decide what size tire.

Rdy2Rac makes over 500 rwhp and runs a 30" tire
I and Wydopnthrtl are about the same power, (with 10 or so)
I run a 28", he runs a 26"

I figure once you hit over 500 rwtrq, go up to a 28" tire. Torque gets you off the line,
With so much torque you may spin off theline with a 26" tire.

However...
If you will wait until Saturday Rich and I are going to line them up at the track sponsered by MILOC and we'll see how the 60' times are.

I'm 428rwhp and with the 2500 stall I do spin them a little off the line. Cross the line at about 5200 too. So for me.... I'm awfully close to the limit and in need of a larger tire. (would'nt be an issue with a stock convertor)

I think the lugs are smaller on the '99.

\what's the torque?

26" sounds good though.
See if someone can lend you a pair and see how it works. then find someone to lend you a pair of 26" and see how it works..

reminds me Ihave to get ahold of Suavy, figure out what I'm going to use against wydopnthrtl

I have tried both on my 2000 with 3.55 gears and a stock convertor. I was putting down around 435hp at the time.
I was a good 2 - tenths faster with the 26" tire. Tested on the same night.
