Are all aftermarket hoods HEAVY?

i agree, but what can i do. New Jersey is pretty strict. At least its removable, I made a bracket that mounts to the lower grill. So their are no holes in the front bumper

Got it here

I decided not to cut out the vents on the hood. I figured it would be a pain to keep clean (wax, dirt buid up,and water getting in) plus I like the way the underside looks painted- looks like a mirror above the engine. That whole area would have to be cut out to make a ram air for the intake. Very good quality, very little prep was needed by the body shop.

(everything came from the factory functional) The nostrals (sp?) are cut open, and the underside of the hood is smooth and painted really nice, and right above the air box and just slightly toward the roadside a 4 or 5" hole exists. You can then take that hole and route a hose into the air box or open air filter. I dont have any pics off hand of that part.
