I must say....
AND hes at sea level!
Well I made four runs, my best was my last.
2.45 60 feet
14.07 @ 101.06 mph
Tried launching at about 3 k but kept spinning the tires. Lowered the launch to about 2.2 to 2.5 ( it was hard to get it perfect each time, there is so much going on with the lights, helmet, being nervous) and got one launch with no wheel spin, and it was my slowest run 14.34 Everytime I hit second I was scratching the tires hard. I have never had that much wheel spin on the street. My big goal being this was my first time at the track was to try to get into the 13's. I got darn close. I know if I can get my 60 ft.time down my quarter times will come down a lot. So next month will be better. The truck handled great and got A LOT of attention. People were really impressed with it. It felt really good to open her up and not worry about getting a ticket!!!! That alone was worth the cost of racing!!
