VALVE BODY question - need an ans ASAP please!!!

Underneath the valvebody, there is a rubber gasket. In this rubber gasket, there is a 1" plastic round "grommet" looking thing, with a hole in it that goes up, and what appears to be notched on the sides. Is there anything that is supposed to be inside there???

I just removed it from that location.

I'm asking a question about the accumulator filter.

Looks like I misunderstood your question.

That should be where the accumulator filter is located.

Do you have the FTVB instructions? It shows where the filter goes.

It's normal, they fall out of the hole, or atleast did on me. Put it back up in the hole and replace the valve body.

looks kinda like a spin top? but with a gasket around it? Toss it, it's there from factory and falls into the fan when they put the tranny stick in i believe. Either way, you don't need it in there.

Thanks guys! Looks like the root cause of my transmission issues is the FTVB.
