Performance tune ok w/mods until tune?

I have seen several people consider using the preformance tune instead of the pulley tune temporarly.
On a preformance tune set up for stock boost you would have much more timing and than you would for a pulley tune. Don't use the preformance tune!!!
You can use the stock tune with the pulley until you get the custom tune id necessary or if you have any problems with the pulley tune. As everyone has said you need to tune it down until you get the final tune.

Also you have more air than is alotted for the preformance tune
