I am trying to limit these X-plans to club members I see you have 2 post. Can you tell me how you heard about this? I have been asking for a club memeber to refer you.

Thanks again Suavy...I look forward to a new car, possibly as a Christmas present for myself. My wife just loves it when I bring those kinds of gifts home. Kevin

I was looking for sites that were listing lightnings for sale and stumbled upon this one. I was in the racing scene for a little while in94-98 in south florida with a high 12 sec 92 50 hatch. I then went to a 98 f150 and then to a ranger before a new child forced me to the import pathfinder. After finally getting the wife out of her neon and into an expo, i have the go-ahead for what i want. If you dont want to give me one , I understand and no hard feelings, i guess ill have to earn your trust through these boards and maybe ill hit you up in the next offer.

Thanks again J,

I am doing my best to buy a new truck. I wonder how some sales people stay working at dealerships. So far today I contacted 5 dealerships. I was trying to avoid wasting time driving around if they did not honor X-Plan.

1. This place is 100 miles away and had what I wanted in stock. Saleswoman had no idea what X-Plan was. I had to explain it and then she told me the truck came with a manual transmission when 6.0L only come in automatic.
2. Had a nasty salesman hang up on me when asked about the 1,000 rebate. I guess he was pissed when I wanted the 1K rebate with the X-Plan price. He told me to buy it from somewhere else.
3rd. When-ever I told this dealer what I wanted they said they had it in stock and to come down even though Ford's website said they didn't have it. They answered all of my questions with "Come down and we'll talk". I though there was no negotiating with X-plan.
4th. Told me I couldn't order what I wanted and I had to take from dealer stock. Wanted me to take a regular cab 5.4 when I am looking at crew cab 6.0. He told me there wasn't much difference between the two.
5th. This guy started out great. He is 6 hours away but would guarantee rebates on delivery, sell at 300 below X-plan and order anything I wanted. I have been emailing him and calling for days saying that I want to give a CC deposit now, he just has to come up with a contract. No response to emails or voice mails.

This should be easy.
