My Nitrous Xpress Install

In my Other Post I stated I would post pics of my NX install so here they are. I have to thank Rob more than I can actually say in words for wasting 2consectutive saturdays off helping me wrench this onto my truck. With that said, heres the pics.

Here is the full meal deal NX system on the table waiting for install

Here is where we mounted the main solenoid and purge solenoid. Note you can also see the hole we drilled through that plastic shield, to run the purge tube.

Here is where we mounted the Fuel Solenoid

.....more to come.

Here is another angle of the Fuel Solenoid.

Here is the PSP nitrous Plate installed, Note to the side you can see how we mounted the Micro Switch to activate when the truck goes to WOT

Here we have the Shark Nozzle installed on the nitrous plate

Here is where we mounted the bottle using the 2 bed bolts to secure the board that the bottle brackets are mounted to.

Here is the bottle gauge mounted to the bottle showing no pressure.

Here is the bottle warmer secured to the bottle

Here is the grommet we drilled a hole into to run the wires for the switches

Here is the Switch we used to arm the entire system. This isnt the normal switch but I liked its looks better, plus it produces a bright red LED when armed.

Here is the Purge button....again not the normal one, but I liked the black cover on the top of it to make it harder for the casual person to see.

Here is where we tapped into the power for so the system can only be armed or used when the vehicle is turned on, and all all devices such as heater cant be accidently left on over night or anything.

Thats it, system is completly installed...if you look closly you can see how we tucked the relay box even into that plastic peice on the firewall, and snaked all the wiring behind it to have a clean install without a mess.

And here is me testing the purge to make sure that everything is in working order.

If you have any questions or would like a specific or closer pic of something please post and I'll do my best to get it ASAP.
Hope this helps some people when they decide to go the nitrous route.

HELLZ YA, that there is some of my finest work ever

The hole Josh mentioned for the purge, IS THEE ONLY HOLE we made for the entire install (other than the switches on his dash)
All wires were ran and snaked through the harness, the solenoid wires all go through holes that are already in our harness cover.

The bottle was even mounted WITHOUT drilling one hole. We used the factory bed bolts, bolted a piece of wood under his bed rug, then bolted the brackets to that.

It truly is an extremly clean install, not one wire seen after we finished (some of those pic's were before the black wire loom)

CONGRATS JOSH AND THANKS
BTW, this is Sal's original kit that was installed on his beast,
and kept him King
AND CONGRATS AGAIN ON THE AWESOME #'s you put down with it yesterday yourself
