DEF worth the $25.00 (won't stop 100%, [b]BUT IT WILL STOP PROB 90%)
Mine @12K
(and believe me, it's WOT or 1320ft at a time of 12K)

Luckily it has just about 40K on it, but it must be real dirty. How hard a job is this to do and what would I need to do it? Not tools, but would I need new sealant, ect.?

the passenger side aft blower bolt cant be removed with the blower in place because it lifts out and contacts the cab (firewall). Break it loose and leave it , when your ready to lift the supercharger simply guide it out as you lift the blower out. On reinstallation set the blower on a couple of inches fwd of its final location... stick the bolt into the blower hole and lift the blower in place and drop the bolt into place....adds about 20 seconds to the install...
when you get to the intercooler removal...which is just 4 bolts, pull the coolant lines loose where they go from soft to hard lines and cap them off when you pull them apart and if you do it right you wont loose any coolant....do it wrong and you only loose a few ounces ...have a towel in place.

I'm thinking heat may have something to do with how fast the teflon flakes off of the rotors. When I bought my 03 the intercooler wasn't working I just didn't know it.
I don't recall how many miles I ran without an intercooler but it was a while and I did WOT blast constantly as well as raced at the track as much as I could. You can imagine what kind of heat was being generated without an intercooler here in South TX. It's just a theory I have.
