im not sure how this will copy over from the ford cd but here goes...
Removal
1. Remove the engine air cleaner assembly. For additional information, refer to «Section 303-12».
2. Remove the drive belt (8620). For additional information, refer to «Section 303-05».
µ 3. Disconnect the power steering pressure hose from the steering gear.
4. Raise the vehicle. For additional information, refer to «Section 100-02».
µ 5. Disconnect the power steering reservoir pump hose (3691) from the power steering pump (3A674).
l Drain the power steering fluid reservoir.
µ 6. Remove the upper power steering pump bolts.
µ 7. Note:
Early build 4.6L and 5.4L engines may have two lower power steering pump bolts; the second bolt may be discarded upon removal of the power steering pump.
Remove the lower power steering pump bolt and remove the power steering pump.
µ 8. Note:
Secure the power steering pump in a vise.
Remove the power steering pressure hose (3A719).
1 Loosen the power steering pressure hose fitting.
2 Remove the power steering pressure hose.
Installation
µ 1. Install the power steering seal by stretching the seal over the seal replacer until it is large enough to slip over the tube nut.
µ 2. Install the power steering pressure hose.
1 Position the power steering pressure hose into the pump.
2 Tighten the pressure hose fitting.
3. Position the power steering pump and loosely install the power steering pump bolts.
µ 4. Tighten the power steering pump upper bolts.
µ 5. Tighten the power steering pump lower bolt.
µ 6. Connect the power steering reservoir pump hose to the power steering pump.
7. Lower the vehicle.
µ 8. Connect the power steering pressure hose to the steering gear.
9. Install the drive belt. For additional information, refer to «Section 303-05».
10. Install the engine air cleaner assembly. For additional information, refer to «Section 303-12».
11. Fill and leak check the system. For additional information, refer to «Section 211-00».

Mine went bad at only 200 miles!! I had to take it back twice and finally the dealership just replaced the entire unit under warranty. I was pissed because the second time I took it in (to a different dealership) they told me the only fix was for a replacement, not a quick fix like the first dealership tried to do (leaked worse after the first so called fix).
Oh ya, the dealerships (both I went to) told me that steering pump problems are notorious for F-150 on other Ford vehicles.
Good luck with yours.

Napa Auto parts (and many others like Kragan, AutoZone and Pep Boys) carry the pumps for well under $100.00 exchange. The pump is the same for Lightnings and standard F-150's. Napa even swapped the pulley for me at no charge.
Slightly messy 1 hour job to swap it myself. The high pressure line was the most difficult because there's not much wrench room. If you've swapped the crank pulley, you know that you have to push the high pressure line out of the way. The line is not expensive ($35.00), so I replaced it as well to avoid any leaks at the fittings.
