2# upper pulley ?
i was looking for a 2.8 upper and found someone willing to sell me theirs... but its a 2# upper... i personally have never heard of that...
whats difference in 2# upper and 2.8# upper??
is it more aggressive or less aggresive? is it bigger or smaller than the 2.8, wondering what belt I would need

I think what he means is that the pulley is adding 2lbs of boost which is about what you see from a 2.80 pulley. The theory is that with the upper each 1/10th of an inch you do down you pick up 1 lb of boost. So if a stock is 2.93 then you put on a 2.80, theoretically you should gain 1.3 lbs of boost. Some trucks vary but thats a good rule of thumb.
Belt depends on lower and idler setup. I would go with 100mm idlers and run a 67" on a 4lb and a 68" on a 6lb.

I have the idler setup and a 2x4 combo w\67" belt just as Jim mentioned. The ldler setup does NOT include the 2.80 upper.
They run around $180-$200 all the vendors seem to have them. They do stop belt slip and look good.
here's a pic:
IMHO I dont think you gain a true 2#'s. It's more like 1 to 1 1\2 at the most. I get 13 - 13 1\2 in 80deg weather and 14-15 in 60 deg. weather.

can you please explain to me the idler bracket thing. Does the kit come with the bracket and pulleys or is that something totally different....
