Thumbs up The Boss is Back

Good News
The truck is all fixed and better than ever

The paint came out awesome and the match is just about perfect

And to top it off 70,000 miles of rock chips on the bumper are all gone. It was so bad it had a million chips right into the rubber. We had to sand the paint totally off and fill the whole bumper, sand it again, then prime and paint it. I think the bumper looks better than it did when it was new. Plust the dimples where you would mount the front plate are gone.

The front Budniks will be back tomorow or Wednesday so I will post some more pics then

:santa:

glad you're up and running again Don!

with all the driving you do, maybe you should think about the 3M clear bra while the paint is still new and chip free?

see ya Friday?

later,
chris

I have allready talked to my friend who installs it, and it will be done before I take any real drives with it.

Dman25 yes I am happy, while I like the Focus, the Lightning is my baby

Don,
Just had the clear bra installed on my S4 this weekend. Expensive but I wish I found this stuff years ago. Can not see it unless you are right on top of it and it still does not look bad. Well worth the investment.

When I did the paint job last year I put the clear bra on the grill, and the hood. I didn't paint the bumper then so thats why it wasn't on the bumper. If you look real close you can see the edge of it on the hood

In all bad events (that wreck) there is some sunshine. Glad to hear your L looks better than before the accident - congrats.
