Records aren't a huge deal to me anyway. I'd rather have a 100 guys run a few tenths slower and be reliable, than one single guy holding the record, but no one else or very few can match without tons of headaches and money. From my knowlegde the L motor is not consistant in when it lets go, so even if Rob held a record, dozens of others may have broken down trying to do the same with a similiar set-up.

I've also learned that records are usually from a compelation of parts (suspension, exhaust, tune, weight reduction, etc.). I know we can provide the best nitrous power and more user friendly with a progressive set-up, but I have no control over the rest of a vehicle to complete the package.

Rob,
Will you be on the PSP team now in the Spring shoot-out if it happens?

Nice

Glad to hear your excited about the build. I have to tell you though, the minute I make the decision to do it...........if i have to.........i'll be booking a return flight from Jersey and jumping on 95 south within minutes cause i wouldn't be able to deal with the second guessing.

I have already decided though that if i'm gonna do it......i'm gonna do the heads. No sense spending that kind of money and putting it together, to only wish i did the heads after.

My payments are up in a year.

Let me see.........build truck or buy house and get married?????????

I know , I know

Can't wait to see you and Gator going at it next year again.

Hey Rob, maybe me and you can do a trade.....I have a full Metco Interchangable set up with a 6# ring, but am looking for a 4# and going with a 2# DUB system this winter, because I only have the 2# lower on the truck right now....

If your going with a DUB System, I happen to have an extra 2.93 and 2.80 upper pulley for SFPH's set up, all you would need is the
"Hub" (Terry will sell that only to you, I checked : o )

I'll swap my 4lb Lower, plus both Uppers "for your lower set up",
If your interested, we'll talk more off line, of course we'd have to wait a couple of weeks to get the truck to Sal and get the Pulley off.

THAT WOULD BE AWESOME.............

Good luck on the uprgrade!
Are you using your stock crank? I was curious? How much are the stock units capable of handling?
Hope to see your 10 second beast this spring!!

I guess you'll only make a couple of passes before they kick you off the track?! But, what a way to leave!

Rob you don't need a bigger pulley when you run your turbo.
