Thanks guys for the congrats what do you think I would pick up by porting my blower? Do you think I should just go ahead and run a 10# lower? and can you get your rotors recoated? does the ported Plenum make that big of a diference? I know I cracked the 10s but I still have alot to learn. So please respond. I don't care if your truck is not as fast as mine I don't have any attitude bs I just want to learn from people who know. Thanks for any help guys. Oh and someone please let me know what I have to do to get a better 60' time.

For $395 you can expect an increase anywhere from 20-40hp from the ported Eaton. It also makes better use of the intercooler, resulting in lower air temps. Pretty much a must have for someone at your power level. Can't believe you haven't done it already!

60 ft. times

Woody, dump the 28 in slicks, get 30 in hoosier drag radials. You'll go a tenth quicker. Run 17 or 18 lbs. after a good 10 second burnout, you've got low 1.5 60 ft. times.

you can buy the rotors from a cobra which are coated with Graphite instead of teflon that flakes off like ours.

Apten can recoat the rotors but it is really really expensive.

I'd have apten port it. I have no reason to suggest them except they did mine and I'm happy with it.

Psssst...
It's called drafting, you drafted the camaro down the track (less wind resistence) and ran the fastest you have ever had.

Regardless how you got there. CONGRATULATIONS!

Are you saying 17 or 18 psi in the slicks? I've always ran 16 but then again I don't have the 30s either. On a cold day SClightning let me burn up his 30s but I was going thru the traps at about 4600 rpm. So the 28s I guess were better for my power level. I need more boost!!! Thanks for all the help guys if you can think of anything else please let me know.

What are you weighing in at>??? Is the truck still in one piece or is it stripped down>??? If you are still at full weight you can take some weight off if you are just looking to go faster. Not my thing, but if you want a number, go for it I guess. A true skinny will help, as would lighter wheels and 30" slicks, I would go to 3.73's with these if you don't have them already. Just go out and have fun though, that is the most important thing! -Mat-

Port the blower, and get a C&L upper plumn. That should give you another tenth or two.

BTW; nice run

It's full weight. Its my daily driver. With 82K on it. I've done a few weight saving steps like the trailer hitch and stuff but nothing big.

That is very true but seeing how long you have been here you exactly what happens when guys start getting power hungry with NOS. And I know first hand that is the reason I have a built block to begin with lol.
