ThunderSnake is a roller! Custom wheels finally done..

Well, it's been a long wait, as I have been working with my wheel guy to make the custom wheels I wanted for Project Thundersnake. I got them last week, ordered up the needed tires, and now they are on the car. Since I set the rear rims up to my own specs, I was able to get a Hooiser QTP 11.5 x 26 on the rear, with just rolling the lip and knocking in that hump on the inner fender wall. There is literally a 1/4" on each side left, but I was able to get a true 10" footprint tire on the car. The rims I had done, were to simulate the original aluminum slot wheels, but in 15" and with a new style billet flavor. I love the way they came out. Anyway, enough rambling, on to the pics!!

supercool! now get a gastank under that monster and get it running I think MM&FFs stang with the lightning motor looks like a total hackjob compared to this thing!!! I think you should challenge their car for a heads up battle stang to stang

MM&FF Project Frightening IS a hackjob, but that's because of who built it (and no it wasn't JDM, they fixed most of the screwups). I actually built the Thundersnake to challenge them to a grudge race, but they never replied to any of my e-mails or phone messages, just like always. Then again, that was over a year ago, and obviously I haven't finished the car yet anyway .

That's the best looking Cobra II I've ever seen.....you'll need a hood as tall as the car for that!
