Looking good Sal and Rob.

Any special reason for the Mod Max pistons and are Mod Max pistons made by them or another company?
I kind of liked the name
Mad Max, Mod Max, you see what I mean,

I can see it now, Nitrous Ronbo aka MAD MAX hehehehehehehehe

ModMax piston is made by CP to ModMax specs for the 4.6 and 5.4 modular engines. The 17cc dish piston has been designed with extra thick tops, beefed up pin bosses and thick skirts and ring lands for big boost applications.

ModMax rods are made from 4340 forged steel to handle over 1 Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiillion hp. They also feature full bronze bushings, and ARP 2000 cap screws with a fully dowled cap for a precision fit.

ModMax plasma moly rings are an excellent choice for any boost or nitrous. File fit for precision assembly

Higher temperatures and RPM's don't work well with the stock cast guides. The ModMax guides are stock replacements built from manganese bronze for excellent durability in high performance engines.

LTNBOLT,
These parts are exactly what the Doc Ordered for MY Application,
Hi Boost, High RPM, and Hi Nitrous HP
; o )

HI!... Hey, where's the main girdle and windage tray? LOL!
You know neal, I never gave that any thought, I'll have to ask Sal about it. I figured a little oil splashing on the Crank couldn't be that bad, hehehe. Hey I KNOW, maybe I can mold one out of duct tape
OR SOMETHING : o )

So Rob, you going to start painting the block and valve covers and s/c since everything is off?

i would definitely look into a girdle but the windage tray is not as important due to the fact that most likely wont be spinning the motor past 5500 anyways.

Congrats Rob. Looks good on ya!!

I can only imagine that your first joy ride in the beast will probably be from sea to shining sea. You'll never get out of that thing now.

Have fun and enjoy.
Kudo's to Sal also.
