Spark plug issue ??

Some do and some don't . I changed my plugs about 40,000 miles ago and no problems now at 81,800 miles on my 01 L.
If I were going to check for plug tightness, I'd change them out since you're going to go to a lot of trouble just to check for tightness. Btw, my theory is some tighten the plugs too much. Others don't use anti-sieze on the threads. Run the plug down finger-tight to its seat and then only 1/16th of a turn more with a ratchet. I used a German, copper-based anti-sieze on mine too.
