If anyone is taking their Lightning to that truck (since Talon is one of the largest clubs) Becareful... It looks that this accident was caused by lack of track preparation and they got out of the groove.

looks more like the track was wet. what were they thinking letting those high powered cars run. reminds me of the steve grebeck bill rimmer crash at orlando ffw with high winds.

the Houston (haloclub.com) guys frequent that track pretty regularly.
(talon has many tracks closer to the dfw area for them )

I would say when I've been to HRP, they have some of the best track prep of the other ones I've been to around me. Glad those guys made it ok, looked pretty rough.

I would never have problems running at HRP and I do often, needless to say it is one of the safest tracks anywhere. Sad to say this happened but main thing both drivers are OK.

Since this occured yesterday there was no rain. If it was raining the track would have been shutdown. When the rain stopped the track would have been dried before anybody would be allowed down the track.

One important thing at HRP, if you notice, they have a top notch safety crew. They were on both cars like stink on *****.

Oh, for your information TALON is way up north from Houston and generally only time TALON comes down is during FFW.
