JLP CAI question

Do people try to attach theirs to the metal stock bracket below the box? I don't feel comfortable with it just "floating" like it seems to. Seems like there should be something better than the boot/MAF holding it on one side and the other side jammed into the fendor hole..

I tied mine down with a "zip tie" through the stock filter mounting holes. It lasts a few thousand miles then I have to replace the broked zip tie. I just wasn't comfortable having it moving around.

Has anyone attached their's to the bottom stock bracket and if so, what did you use? Thanks.

Actually the fender snout on the box has nothing to do with the support of the box. There is a slit on the front of the box that slides on to the overflow box. That keeps the front of the intake form going up or down.
I installed mine 8,000 miles ago and no problems at all.
