rim and tire size

I have a friend whos offering me 20's for a good price, the only thing is they are 20x8 and I was wondering what the biggest size tire I can fit on there. Will they work on the truck?

Thanks

I would'nt go over a 255 wide.

Not picking on you specifically charged... but I've never understood this obsession with bling over function?

Just my opinion, Rich

to tell you the truth I would rather have performance but someone handing me 20's for basically free, I'll take the bling.

I need new tires anyways my nittos are done.
