Superchip

I have a blue superchip that connects under the passenger side airbag on my 2000 L which i bought used like this. I read some stuff lately and decided to see what you guys think of the program on it and whether it will affect my trucks life.

1. It shifts at about 5600 RPM which is probably too high and out of the powerband, possibly the reason of my slow 1/4 mile times.

2. It shifts hard at WOT, and im guessing it because it causes high line pressure in the Tranny which could kill the life of the tranny.

3. It shift down to first at around 30-35 which is awesome, which with out the chip u have to be below 25 mph which i dont like.

4. I think Torque reduction might be off too lol.

Well.... do any of these things kill the life of my motor/tranny. I like the chip but ill leave it out if its gonna kill something. Im sure it give the motor a little more power so if so maybe ill get it re-burned somewhere(Ill ask the SoCal guys about that since i live here) Thanks.
