I was advised by a friend(also a good mechanic) to use Red Line CV-2 synthetic Hi-performance grease... You can find it at a good autoparts store....

I've used Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease on a M-90 and a M-112. The M-90 has 20,000 mi since the port job, and my other blower has 4,000 mi, and now it's on another truck No issues!

I talked to the guy's at Motion industries we have a vedore in plant. He said that as long as we cleaned the old grease out of the bearings and shaft that he felt that Mobil one synt greas would work.

If this info helps anyone I have purchased Reotemp 500 grease
from TAI lubricants. It is very exspensive I paid $41.95 plus S & H
of $7.95 for a measley 30cc syringe. As far as I know this is the only place that you can get it in small quanities. Here is there e-mail www.lubekits.com Hope this helps I spent many hours chasing this down.

i wonder if mobilith 007 synthetic grease might work? we use it in out high speed gear boxes at work

Bump, for thread voted most valuable in my book this year Herb, this is awesome google'ing

I recently ported my blower and repacked the rear bearings with Duckhams Grease Copper 10 which is advertised to be a "...non-melting, high temperature anti-seize assembly compound for components subjected to continuous or intermittent high temperatures with an operational temperature range of -22 *F to 2012 *F."
After a week's driving I started getting the "cold bearing" sound and Suavy pointed out that the grease probably wasn't vacuum tolerant and was being sucked out of the bearings. I have been searching for the "secret grease" since then and it looks to me like Herb let the cat out of the bag
