My god Tim, where do you find your images?

Have you a dedicated hard drive, cataloged by sarcasm topic, all set for quick retrieval?

The object of the cutting the bell housing, as I understand it, was to get access to the converter studs during install. I've seen it a few times, REM did it to their race truck, had the same result....I'll get a picture of the display, it's not here right now, but it should be back soon.

I really don't understand it though, it seems to me the converter studs are still in the same place on a 9 inch as they are on the 12 inch, I mean, the flexplate has not moved...strange...

Dammm Joe, !!!!! You dont believe that cutting the structure of the transmission case will weaken it ?

You dont believe this is why they are failing ?

Come on Joe, share with the class.

Who came up with the brilliant idea of the Sawzall Mod? Was it you, Eddie, your Street Renegade Mustang crew, or one of your A/C tent mod 'partners?'

Yet another FINE example of the thought process.

Just like his transmission it's what I call "Joeyrigged". I think as a people we owe Mr. 'KILLA a debt of gratitude for such a timeless classic. Like the guy with the leaf blower in his intake tube (supercharged by Toro) or the Audi driver who armor-all'ed the tread on his tires then slid off the road this will be passed on for generations to enjoy. Thank You sir

Yes, all Monster Boxes come with a 2 year parts and labor warranty. Both of the boxes mentioned here that have problems were built in 2002 I think, but before the warranty was offered.

I guess it's a good think Joey's father owns his own co. and gave him a job, otherwise he would have had to practice saying "would you like to super size that?" Not the sharpest tool in the shed apparently.

So chances are Joey is responsible for his tranny's going out by cutting on the case with a sawzall. What I'm interested in seeing is Greggs explanation as to why Madness and St.Elmos Fire have gone through 10 Monster Boxes combined. Did they cut on theirs as well?

No cutting on any of my trans... between each trans change, a new trans cooler was installed, and the last trans even got new transmission lines to insure the system was clean... no cutting.. EVER...
