I have a damaged shock on my passenger side rear of the truck. It appears to have happened due to the emergency brake cable that is routed next to it. It has totally crushed the top portion of the actual shock casing. Doesn't appear to pose any immediate problem, but I was wondering if this is a common thing or something specific to my truck?
