Installed Gauges and some fun Stuff - Pictures inside
Hello !
I got my Pillar Pod from the USA and my gauges from germany!
All is installed now. And i like it !!
My oil temp gauge is not in function.....searching for a sensor which will fit the Lightning.
The gauges are made by Autogauge and sold by RAID HP germany with their name on it. The quality looks good and the pricing is great !
Gauges by day - engine off - black tinted glass:

Your gauges look KILLER! At day and at night. Those are the 1st ones i've seen with the blacked out lenses. Your truck is coming along nicely, keep up the good work and you'll have the BADDEST LIGHTNING in Germany! And by the way, who's the nice looking frouline? (sorry if I mispelled it) Cheers from the U.S Larry M.

Andre,
I've got to ask what gauge pod that is. Where did you order it from and what do you think of the fit? Did you paint it yourself?
I too have been bitten by the mod bug, and my 4lb chip, Predator with custom tune, spark plugs, valve body and deep transmission pan are all going on this weekend!
The crowd here in England were impressed when a pick-up ran a 13.3. What will they think when I pull a 12 out of the bag!?
I had an interesting 'race' myself last weekend - against a Noble M12 3R. You should have seen the look on his face when I was still on his tail at a GPS verified 151mph!
Cheers,
Joel

Hello Joel,
Hello Coopersunc,
The Pillar was ready painted, really nice quality (looks like stock) and you will get it here:
http://www.gaugepods.com/ford_t.html
The gauges are from http://www.raidhp.de
But you will find it in the USA from the Brand AutoGauge.
ATTENTION:
You have to work on both parts.
On the pillar you have to clean the holes with a cutter and "sandpaper".
For 2003 and 2004 Lightnings:
You have to cut (saw) it a little on the upper side to get it fit right. Really easy and nice to do.
DEPTH of the Gauges:
My Boost gauge was ok and ready to install.
The Oil Temp Gauge and the VOLT Gauge i had to work on. The depth was to long so i had to take a 5mm (milimeters) (i think it will be 1/6 inch) away.
I´ve easily grater it away.
Nice job without problems.
For the Oil Temp i still looking for a Sensor which will fit the Lightning.
If you can´t find the Gauges in the USA eMail me
info@mad-medien.de
Many greetings,
André
