I'd have to agree with Jeff here about the Bassani - but they are expensive, as he said. I got the lower-end Bassani BX, and am quite happy with it...It has a nice, throaty sound that isn't overly loud until you really put your foot into it. Ive been on a couple of 3-hour road trips with it so far, and it never has been an issue as far as noise goes.
Hope this helps!

If you're talking about the American Thunder catback, I was looking into the same thing - until I heard one on someone's vehicle....I just didnt care for the way that it sounded. So, I just decided to swallow the pill and pay the extra $$ for the Bassani - it comes down to getting what you pay for.

Somebody else (Sanix, i think) satrted a thread on here about that, and posted some pics. Give it a look, and see what you think. Still, I much prefer the angled tips and the engraving on the Bassani, but maybe you'll like these. Its all in the eye of the owner!

IMO, the Flowmasters didnt have a high pitch to them at all, they just didnt sound quite right to me...maybe on a Camaro or something, but not on a L...
