8lb pulley

I've got a 2.77" upper on an Apten, used to run a JLP 5# lower, recently changed the 5# to an 8#. I gained nearly 70 pounds of torque, and 17 hp (sae rwhp) It did move my horsepower peak down by 400 rpm and you can see that it is overspinning the Eaton as at 5400 the 8 + 2.77" is only 2 hprsepower above the 5 + 2.77" combo.
I am running at 5,000+ feet altitude, so "Your results may vary."

You'll have no problem with the Eaton fastdailydriver, many use 8 -10 lb lowers with very good results.
quiksilver, that power at that elevation is amazing
I have the same #'s basically with the mag, (8 + 2.7)
Bottom line is the Ported Eatons and Mags have very diff results on Trucks with identicle set ups, mods, and tunes, so as said results WILL vary

I'm going to be running am 8# with a ported Eaton too - just gotta make time to pull it all together.
Sorry Mike - you and I just can't have any original ideas
I've got the 8 pounder in the garage and just lined up buyer for the old 5 pounder - net difference = $20. If I get results similar to quicksilver, that's A buck per RWHP - not bad!!
