I have a 99 lightning that has 850 miles and it started with a slight hesatation that developed into a slight miss. On the way to the dealer (about 12 miles) the engine seemed to clean out some,as i pulled into the dealership it started runing on for cylinders.The dealer (tech)said it was the mass air flow sensor.They replaced it and one plug. It still has a high speed miss,as soon as they solve this,ill report.****

 

Time for new 90MAF and some more boost!!

I'm not looking at dates just going thru the threads and reading them. There are so many to keep up with looking up the date on how old they are..

While I applaud you for doing some research .....
Since the search is down it is pretty tough to get 2+ years back in the threads and NOT know you are that far back......
That thread was one of the first 20 -25 threads in the forum....

I'm not sure how suggesting he add more boost and a 90mm maf will help his high speed miss..... Especially since the 99's came with an 80mm and he would need a chip to manage the new maf.
