How long did you wait for delivery after ordering?

Anyone in the following states please be on the look out for my Lightning. Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico or Arizona. Ordered June 8th. Promised in three weeks, then promissed August 8th. Currently lost on a rail car. Last seen in Kansas City.
SuperChip in hand. No where to put it.
(I overnighted it 2 weeks ago...misplaced faith).
A.R.E sitting at the shop. (More faith).
No where to put it.
Lead foot. No where to put it.

If its a RED one, I'm the proud new owner of
this 99.5 Lighting.(HA HA). Just B.S.ing, but I had to wait a week for my truck to get
from Tulsa to Oklahoma City (90 miles), I was
extra pissed off at my dealership. They said
the trailer had to be fully loaded before It could leave Tulsa. I volunteered to drive down there in pick it up: No way is what I heard form the dealership(insurance reasons).

I ordered my first one on Jan. 5th and was told I was #5 or 6 in line for receipt (must have been a rush on Jan. 4th). When I couldn't get any positive feedback on prox. delivery I went to a different dealership. Placed second order (cancelled first) on Jan. 19th and took delivery May 12th. Mine was the second one to arrive there. Paid $1000 under sticker due to return business. Haven't had three consecutive months of fun like this since medical R&R in Taiwan (1968) - but that a story for a different time and place! Chuck

Ordered on Feb. 2nd 1999, built on May 10th 1999, Took delivery June 2nd 1999. I have the original order dora, the dora of the day it was built, the original invoice, shipping papers, and a copy of the MSO. This truck will be in my family when I die, and they will have to pry the keys from my cold dead hand to get them.
