Hey guys, I am getting ready to have a set of 3.73 gears installed and I wanted to know what other parts I needed to replace in addition to the ring and pinion ? Is there an install kit where I can get all the shims and bearings that will be needed or do I have to order each piece ? Thanks in advance guys.

 

Swapping the gears is not difficult, but it takes practice and the right tools to do it. Any shop that is qualified to swap 'em should have the parts required. The pinion crush sleeve has to be replaced in order to set the new pinion depth and the carrier bearing shims will need to be adjusted to get the right backlash.
