Thanks
AZ it turned out to be a bad transfer of tunes (to say it simple).
I had this weird feeling so I found an old program I had laying around and tried it, problem was gone. Went to Sal and he compared the program we made (stored in his computer) against the program on my chip, which should have been the same, "there were some differences".
All my orig programs Sal has were burned on whats now the old SCT software,
but the newest program (that gave us trouble) was burned on their newest software. I wanted all my old custom transmission shift points and downshifts so we had to combine part of the old software program, with the new software program, somewhere in that transfer, something changed.
All I know is boggign prob IS GONE, woo hoo....

And so far so good as far as running on all 8 ; o )

Yesterday I pulled some plugs and there is CLEARLY a diff compared to what USE TO be going on, WOO HOO!!

This is yesterdays plug check, they do look a little lean yet
BUT
No green
No Burnt
No half and half
AND THEY ALL LOOK THE SAME (fingers crossed again)

This first one is the #1 pass side that ALWAYS use to melt
Then the 2nd and 3rd pass side

Now look at some of the older ones

Notice how on these, they all look a little different
Also if you look hard, you'll see the half and half I always talk about
Half the plug burns one way, and half a different way

These (below) only lasted about 5 minutes, so the true colors werent shown yet, but as seen clear indication of detonation (green tips)

The NMRA plugs YIKES again you'll see some half and half
and some missing pieces, hehehehehehe

and on this one, it's a great example of the half and half
a little dark I know, but all are natural light so the true color can be seen

anyway I look at it, THINGS ARE CLEARLY LOOKING BETTER .......

Glad to see you're starting to finally enjoy the truck... especially since the weather is starting to cool off up there.

No IM,
Strangly enough it was always #1 and or #3 Pass side, and #2 or #3 D Side.
Weird aint it, it is more usual for it to be the back cylinders giving us trouble.
Anytime I hurt a plug on the stock block it was always the rear cylinders
BUT
Now that I switched to the 60's, it does seem as though I'm getting back to normal. I did crack the Porc on 2 Denso's "when we tried throwing too much timing at it on the Dyno (Pump Gas)", and it was the last plug on both sides.

I have never been more happy to burn those two, hehehehehe
Hoping it was just too much timing, it was enough for the truck to lose power and detonate so we think so. Maybe I am FINALLY back to normal ???
