tps + wot question

tps + wot question

alright i've had my wbc in for a month and finally today i got around to installing the tps, maf, and rpm wires so i can datalog them with the wideband. Everything is working fine however when i go wot i am only getting 88% (4.4v) from the tps. I set it to read low 1v and high 5v. is that normal to not reach even close 5v? When i set up the tps w/ the accufab sbtb i set it at .99v at idle. I never checked it wide open. Maybe i should hold it wot and set it to 5v. then use the idler screw to set the .99? or maybe i'm worried to much about it not hitting 5v.

alright so it doesn't effect anything being so low?

They will never go from 0-100
I was told by Sal the other night we are all putting too much effort into the TPS adjustments. Tells me the computer re-configures itself based on current TPS output EVERYTIME you start the truck. AMOF we changed mine the other day and I havent checked it yet, and the truck is running the best it has in a year.
It is however important to make sure you are under the 1.00 at no pedal

alright i guess i gotta think of something else to make the truck faster lol.

I basically "slapped" my factory TPS on to the new Accufab and gave it a little tension. Started the truck, and it's been running perfect on that setting since. I had -0- idle problems.
