Alarm

Ok heres the problem. I have a 2000 L and im not sure what alarm they came with from the factory. My best guess they just came with the horn one and thats all. My truck has a red blinking light and an other alarm that uses a siren. This morning i hit something while cleaning it and it wont arm now or go off when i open the door after i lock the truck like it used to. Can any one help me out?

Also, when i lock the truck before, the alarm would make two click noises and now its only making one so it seems like its no arming. I've dissconnected the battery but only for a few moments and when I reconnect it it disarms.

Look for a mini toggle switch under the dash, somewhere, flip it the other way. There are 1000's f ways to install an alarm and 1000's of alarms. Get a pic of the trasmitter and post it, I might be able to help you out. Is the red light solid now?

The alarm that the dealer installed in my 01 uses the LED as the "toggle switch". You push the LED to put the alarm into valet mode.
I think that you just push it with the alarm deactivated.
